Doweling, Drilling and Pinning Slabs

Essential for airport runways and taxiways as well as for road construction and concrete highway construction, doweling, drilling and pinning slabs ensure the slabs don't move.

First, a slot is cut across the joint to strengthen the slab. The panels are pinned together by inserting dowels along construction joints, and then epoxy is injected.
